Secular Humanism as a Religion

Proponents of Secular Humanism portray their philosophy as something that is apart from religion--as something that is purely based on science, logic, and reason. Yet many of its strongly held positions have nothing to do with reason and logic and are purely based on strongly held opinions.

For example, positions on controversial topics such as affirmative action, Climate Change alarmism, abortion rights, gay and transgender rights, and a woman's career trumping her family obligations are all proclaimed with vehemence even though reasonable and rational people could hold different views on these issues.

So Secular Humanism really is a religion but it enjoys one distinction that differs with other religions: it is officially sanctioned by the government and other powerful institutions such as universities, media, and Big Tech.

So when Secular Humanists call for a wall of separation between church and state, what they really advocate is for their religion to displace others such as Christianity and Islam.
